COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
FROM WELL-WISHERS
Dear Dr. Rahman,
Initially the organization will have to be
registered with the Social
Welfare Department, Dinajpur. Later, when
you intend to approach donors
for assistance, it has to be registered with
the NGO Affairs Bureau under
the Foreign Donations Act, 1998. Both the
departments have prescribed
application forms.
Please contact us for details during your
next visit to Dhaka.
Wish you all the best in your noble efforts.

Dear Brother in Islam,
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.
Praise be to Allah (SWT) the Creator of all
and peace and blessings on His Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), a mercy to mankind.
I hope this e-mail finds you in the best
of health and strong Iman. The only information I can offer you is about
our own system of applying for funding for
development projects. You can find this information on our website www.muslimaid.org
Under the section 'Relief and Development' you will find our Guidance Notes
which detail our
funding criteria and our Application Form
which will assist you in applying for funding. I hope this is of assistance
to you. We also have a field office in Bangladesh who you could contact
for more information, Insha'Allah.
May Allah reward you for all your good work.
Wassalam.

Dear Friend,
There are people who are dreaming of doing
this (like me from childhood
because I am from a real village) but there
are some who can implement
that. Thanks for taking initiation but I
am with you the way you cannot
think of. So let me know what to do and how
to start with.
I have my own plan and I can also implement
with you.

Dear Sir,
I really appreciate your effort and I hope
and pray that the project brings a grand success. After I start my
job and become solvent economically I will
also like to contribute and be part of it. It looks like you already spared
a lot of time after this project and convinced several other people. You
probably need some big donors for the initial start. Whatever it is, I
really want that this thing works and fits smoothly into the system of
Bangladesh, because honest intentions are not really appreciated there.

Dear Mr. Saifur,
I have something to tell. Before collecting
money what is needed is marketing. Lots of helping organisations are here.
Why people will choose yours? What Al-Hasana is? What is its moto? What
is it going to do, or the most important is what it did? At present time
people prefers to read then to listen. Advertisement in local papers (Bengoli)
could help. Seminars in mosques could help. Leaflets and printed books
are needed. Confirmation and I.D. of such foundation is very important.
People can give one dollar without thinking, but for more they will think
more than once.
1. Al- Hasana can collect the zakat money
only. It will reduce preliminary explanation as well as advertisment
cost.
2. representitive here must have the authority
to provide an instant receipt followed by Dhaka receipt.
3. Printed material, recipt and representitive
I.D. llike visiting cards is essential.
3. Management of advertising cost.
4. This is a team work. You need more people
to introduce as Al-Hasana workers.
